The mission of the Order is to “aid the Lord’s sick and the poor.” In Vancouver, the Order has built and funds the St. John Hospice at UBC and it has provided support to many other hospices around our Province of BC. The Vancouver Commandery of the Order is proud to provide capital for projects of The Dugout and thereby support the Dugout’s outstanding service to residents of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.”
